For residential & business polycarts, apply at Adamsville City Hall.  For business dumpsters, call ASCO Sanitation at 1 (800) 729-1889 ext. 2400.

Recycling

 

The City of Adamsville is now working with the Chester County Recycling Center in Henderson. Chester County does not accept glass so you can take your glass to the McNairy County Recycling Center in Selmer.

What does that mean for you? We offer recycling to our customers inside the city limits of Adamsville to help reduce the City's costs at the local landfill. Because of this change, a few things are different in the items that can be picked up.

Recyclables In addition to the plastic, paper, cans and cardboard we already pick-up, we added the following items to our recycling list: Cooking pots & pans, Paint & paint cans, Electronics-all sizes (no TV’s), Appliances - all sizes. For large appliances call City Hall (731) 632-1401 and we will pick them up at the street. We have regular curbside pickups every other week for Adamsville City residents who are registered at City Hall. We now have carts available for recycling pick-up. Just fill your bags as usual, put them in the cart and roll it to the curb. If you want a cart call City Hall at (731) 632-1401 and we will deliver it to your house. Bags are available in the City Hall office. Thank you for recycling and for helping to keep the landfill rates down.
